Guwahati: Assam police alert citizens against fake job offer on WhatsApp
Observing a re-emergence of phone impersonation scams, the police have issued an advisory to remind the public to take precautions when they receive any unverified links on their mobile phones.
On Sunday, the Assam police urged the people of Assam to remain alert of a WhatsApp Forward that has been being circulated under the pretext of a Fake Job Offer, designed to lure people into clicking an unverified Link.
